ARTMIX BELIEVES ART IS A HUMAN RIGHT.

We have built an inclusive community that provides people with and without disabilities access to the arts. Featuring 30 independent artist works and five collaborative pieces, Better Together: ArtMix’s Snapshot of True Inclusion is a diverse visual journey, showcasing the results of placing inclusion and accessibility at the forefront of the arts.

Local artists of all abilities and backgrounds between the ages of 15 and 72 were selected from ArtMix’s community. Each artist was provided an identical 18” X 24” wood panel. From there they were tasked to create an artwork in their own style and medium. Equal access to any accommodations or support such as studio space, art supplies, adaptable tools, mentor-ship, and collaboration were also offered to the artists in whatever form they needed to express their creativity.

The result is a beautiful, eclectic display showcasing that we truly are better together.
