Community Classes
Community Arts Classes provide people of all ages and all abilities with the opportunity to express themselves through a variety of art forms. Our Community Arts Classes are led by our professional teaching artists, who guide students through the art-making process.
We offer three different types of classes
Exploratory Classes…
are for artists of all ages. With a guided lesson plan, students explore specific techniques in a variety of art forms to further their artistic abilities. Exploratory classes are offered in 2D visual art (painting, drawing, collage).
Class offerings:
Exploratory Mixed Media:
Mondays, 4-5pm with Bella
Wednesdays, 4-5pm with Chris
Saturdays, 9:30-10:30am (4-7 year olds)
Exploratory Clay
Mondays, 4-5pm with Christy & Shelby
Saturdays, 9:30-10:30am (8-12 year olds)
Open Studio Classes…
are for clay artists of all ages who have attended ArtMix classes in the past. These classes provide freedom of choice for students, who are mentored by three professional teaching artists.
**The class has very limited spaces and students should contact us to enroll directly.
Class Offerings:
Tuesdays, 4-5:30pm with Christy, Chad, and David
Our Dedicated Class…
is for artists looking for less guidance. Working with teaching artists, students have the freedom to create individualized works of art.

Tuition is on a sliding scale based on household income. Please refer to the chart below to determine your fee. Scholarships are available and may be requested easily on the registration form.
