Meghan Martin, Winner of the 2025 Christel Dehaan Fellowship of Accessible Arts

I will be visiting Arts Access North Carolina in Raleigh, North Carolina. They are a non-profit dedicated to creating a positive impact at the intersection of arts, education and disability. Their vision is to have communities in which the arts are universally accessible. We value acceptance, lived experiences, partnerships and collaboration with those in our growing community. Through March 21st, 2025, Arts Access North Carolina has an exhibition featuring a collection of textile art, from intricate embroidered tapestries to hand-knit sweaters, all celebrating the beauty of transformation & renewal. This fellowship will grant me access to a new environment and inspire me to pursue more textile work. When I'm not pursuing music, I am working on my fiber art journey through knitting, spinning and sewing. In the future, I hope to intertwine fiber arts with music!
