Chris Tower
My first memories are of drawing with crayons on old printer paper, (the old kind with perforated holes down one side.) It came in big stacks with all the sheets connected until you tore it apart and I remember that I could draw and draw and get all the pictures in my head out onto the paper. It could be wallpaper. If you taped it to the window light could come through and it changed the drawing. These experiences set the template for most of my art experiences moving forward.
I created throughout my childhood. I studied drawing, painting, and ceramics in college at Herron School of Art in Indianapolis and have tried to continue my arts education by learning every technique I can. I have taught art to people of every age, in schools, colleges, and private settings and currently work with differently-abled and Neurodivergent students through Artmix in Indianapolis. My life’s work is to create, teach and help people connect to their creative spirits.
