Laura is a University of Indianapolis graduate majoring in Mental Health Counseling with an Art Therapy concentration. She studied ceramics during her time there and developed a passion for wheel-throwing.

She was introduced to ArtMix through the University of Indianapolis and fell in love with the organization. Laura held multiple roles at ArtMix, including volunteer, urban artisan, and studio technician, but left for a few years to finish her schooling. She has recently returned to become a Teaching Artist.

Artistically, Laura enjoys creating functional yet beautiful pieces of pottery on the wheel and experimenting with glazes. She is thrilled to return home to Artmix and work with a community she cherishes.
